Occupational Therapy for Adults
One-on-one occupational therapy, online or in person at our Albany Creek clinic, to help you feel calmer and more in control of work, study and everyday life.
This may be a good fit if…
How we work together
Sessions are a mix of conversation, problem-solving and practical strategies. We start with what matters to you, then build habits and approaches that fit your real life. You don't need a diagnosis or a referral to begin. A willingness to explore what might help is enough.
What we can focus on
- Building skills to stay focused and organised
- Managing energy, stress and overwhelm
- Living and working in ways that suit how your brain works
- Making big life or work transitions feel smoother
- Shaping a life that feels balanced and steady
Online or in person
Choose online sessions for flexibility, or meet face-to-face at our Albany Creek clinic in North Brisbane. Plenty of people mix both. There's no minimum commitment, so regular sessions or the occasional check-in both work.
Common questions
How much does occupational therapy cost?
At CoForward a standard 45-50 minute session is $200, a 20-25 minute quick check-in is $100, and a 70-75 minute extended session is $300. A first session runs 45-60 minutes at $200. Session prices include brief letters if you need one.
Do I need a referral to see an occupational therapist?
No. You can book directly, without a referral or a diagnosis. If your GP has created a Chronic Disease Management plan and referred you, you may be able to claim a Medicare rebate for each session, though a gap payment will still apply.
What happens in a session?
Sessions are a mix of conversation, problem-solving and practical strategies. We start with what matters to you, work out where the friction actually is, and build habits and approaches that fit your real life.
How long will I need to come for?
There's no minimum commitment. Some people come regularly for a period, others check in occasionally. We work out session length and frequency together based on what you're trying to change.
