Helping You Shape a Life
That Works for You
Life and work can feel overwhelming, but you don't have to figure it all out alone.
At CoForward, we offer one-on-one occupational therapy, online or in person at our Albany Creek clinic, to help you feel calmer, clearer, and better supported as you navigate work, study, and everyday life. Together, we focus on what's important to you, and how to build habits and strategies that actually work for you.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need a referral?
No. Just get in touch and we'll work out what might help.
What happens in a session?
Sessions are a mix of conversation, problem-solving, and practical strategies. We'll work together to explore what's important to you and shape approaches that work for your life.
Can I choose between online and in-person sessions?
Yes! We offer both online sessions and in-person sessions at our Albany Creek clinic. Many people enjoy the flexibility of online sessions, while others prefer meeting face-to-face. You can choose what works best for you, or mix both.
Is my information private and secure?
Yes. Your sessions and personal information are kept confidential and secure. We do not share or sell your information.
Can I claim a Medicare rebate for my sessions?
If your GP has created a Chronic Disease Management (CDM) plan and referred you for occupational therapy, you may be able to claim a Medicare rebate for each session.
There will still be a gap payment, as the rebate doesn't cover the full session fee.
You can only claim the rebate if you have a current plan and have sessions remaining on it for this calendar year. Medicare rebates apply for up to five allied health sessions per calendar year across all the providers you see (for example, if you also see a dietitian or physiotherapist, those sessions count toward the total).
Are you a WorkCover provider?
Yes. CoForward is registered to provide occupational therapy services through WorkCover Queensland. If you've been referred for support after a workplace injury, please get in touch to discuss how we can help.
Do you work with children and families?
Yes. We work with school-aged children (including Prep), teenagers, and young adults.
With children, we work closely with families.
With teenagers and young adults, they lead. They set the goals and shape the direction of sessions. Parents are welcome to be involved, but the young person's autonomy is central.
We also work with parents and carers. We support you to navigate a role that can be deeply demanding without burning out.
For younger children, please call us before booking to see if we're the right service for you.
Can I have an appointment outside hours?
Yes, with notice. Please contact me by phone or email to organise.
We can often do appointments on a Saturday or on weekday evenings. These appointments may have a surcharge of $10 applied.
What if my health, energy, or pain is unpredictable and gets in the way of coming to sessions?
If you need something to engage well, please tell me.
Our clinic location has free parking and options for rest before or after your appointment (a café, comfortable atrium, walking paths). We also offer telehealth if you would prefer not to travel or spend the mental energy planning your trip. You're welcome to log in from home in your PJs if that's what works!
I'm very open to adjusting how we work together. That might look like:
- shorter or split sessions
- a slower pace
- breaks
- written follow-up
- adjusting sensory aspects of the space
- switching to telehealth at short notice.
You won't be charged more for this kind of flexibility.
It really helps if you let me know what's going on for you. I can't adjust what I don't know about. If something isn't working, or you're nearing your limit, please tell me.
Together we'll aim to find a rhythm that supports your wellbeing without creating extra strain.
I'm not able to offer unlimited cancellations, but we can plan ahead if flare-ups are part of your reality.
Do you work with NDIS participants?
We can work with self-managed and plan-managed NDIS participants. Fees are the same as for all clients, and we'll let you know upfront if we're the right fit for your needs.
